Hey out there,
Well the weekend is finally here! Our school had a 2 hr delay because of all the rain and slushy mess this morning. Anyone else out there having crazy weather? Our middle school has been busy getting the kids ready for their annual Poetry Slam. We will also be having a Game Show Bonanza in a few weeks. It should prove interesting as the teachers have based and created game ideas after some popular game shows. Everything from PowerPoint Jeopardy to Grammar Bingo, some trivia games, games in media, math, sports, etc--should prove interesting! Each teacher has to teach 2 games,and help out in 2 more games-all being run by grade 5-8 teachers. We are also working with our classes on MCAS prep for the math and ELA tests. This is my first year teaching in the middle school, after 28 years in the elementary school. Change is good!
